Some people have asked about why 8.8, and that followed Wamba 6.5, I can explain... there was no Wamba in 1994 (dont ask why) and so in 1995 we had to catch up a little so we called it 6.5 (you see it sholuld have been Wamba 7), then in 1996, no wamba again (again... dont ask..lol) so when we did the next wamba it was 8.8 (would have been Wamba 9) and so on.... anyway the goal of Wamba is not to be 'normal' so on we went..... Wamba 8.8 was "In Synch with Oz" and was a play on the recently released information that showed a coorelation with the Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon album with The Wizard of Oz... cool stuff......Wamba 8.8 was the only all Black mug, we had a hard time with the printing, they had to be remade once and honestly probably wont do a black one again as they were also hard to see 'fullness' and did heat more in the sun.. but they are cool!!
