This was one for the books!! we had over 90 people and at least 2 dogs in attendence throughout the day. Although we were at a smaller lodge, everything worked out great and with the threat of inclement weather we had 4 pop-ups all provided by friends attending.. we were lucky to only have one front come through about 6pm, everyone was able to take cover while it passed. There were a couple bands and a lot of excellent musicians that came to jam including the 48 year anniversary of Head First band, a group made up of Steve Latragna (guitar), Kent Stimpson (Guitar/Vocals) and wamba master Chuck Hardy (drums) who were all about 15-16 yr old when they first formed in Chucks parents basement back in 1976. We also had 3 members of Rochester's 'New Math' who rocked out and 16 year old sensation (and Chucks niece) Melana Willard who sang Ozzy's Crazy Train for us. All in all it was a fantastic day to jam and hang out with friends and family. We finished off about 2.5 kegs of Labatts and the grill was fired up with plenty of food for all. A lot of people asking if we really have to wait another 5 years for the next wamba, well... I guess we will have to wait and see!! if you missed Wamba 35, you missed a good one!!
